Trick or...ohh just give me a treat all ready!

Well I have no idea what is going on around here. The big ones came home tonight with chocolate on their breath and none for me. To top it off there are people all over the neighborhood, but they decided not to dress as themselves. They put on sheets and some of them put on masks, most for the better.

So I get done with all of my business and trust me I want to get inside, it is weird out there, plus it is dinner time.

After dinner I am trying to have my 5th nap of the day when the Male Big One comes over and starts trying to put all of these crazy shirts on. Everybody is laughing and cheering but trust me I am not happy. I LOOK RIDICULOUS!!!

And then to top it off, I think they are done after one. But wait, there is more. They pull out another shirt and hat for me to wear. Did I mention I was not happy with this the first time? But you know what? I will be the bigger mammal in the situation and let it go. No hair off my back, right? But they keep with the flashing box and laughing and giving me minimal, need I repeat that, minimal treats.

So now I am trying to get my blog done before I go to bed, which I still need to go out for my nightly rounds, so I can finally have some peace and quiet. Even though I have a feeling that it might not happen to be quiet tonight at all.

Oh, by the way, Yes I did get a hair cut.

Thanks for noticing!

Pumpkin Festival

The male big one and I went out the other night and he played with a wireless controller pointed at the television and was yelling and screaming about stuff to his friend "Nate."

Nate is pretty nice and he is good to the other big one, he lets him drink whatever he wants to when he goes to the fridge. He evens lets me poop on his floor without getting mad...I like that, POOP TIME.

Nate said something about a Pumpkin Festival and that we should go. "Ohh my, I thought, pumpkins and a festival, that sounds like fun... I should find out what a pumpkin is."

Well the next day came around and I put on my best shirt and the Big Ones and I took off down the street. I thought we were just headed around the street, but before you know it we were all the way on the other side of the island.

There were a lot of kids running around and big orange circles which I found out later were, in fact, pumpkins. I also found out they were heavy when the boy big one would not shut up about how heavy it was the whole way home, what a wuss.

But overall I got lots of petting, to play on the hay and listen to some pretty good music, that Nate guy sure can play!

When I got home though it was all over for me, what a long day, the only thing I can think about is the couch and how it is my best friend.

The Mystery Box

So there was a rumble at the door this evening and I let out the most ferocious bark I could muster and then the boy big one came back in the room and said something about a box coming from Kansas.

I have been to Kansas before and it was really nice, maybe the big dog from Kansas is in the box and she wants to say, "hello." Or maybe it is some leaves. I love leaves to play with!

They opened up the box and low and behold it was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, a rope toy! I had this on my list of things I wanted, besides a steak every morning, hint...hint big ones. (You know you might think I am being a little unreasonable, but guess who already cooks for me every night.)

But it wasn't over just yet. There was another bag in there that they said was for me. And it tastes like chicken, I will have to wait and see exactly what this is. They took it away from me and put it with all of my other tasty food.

Well I think there is some more I have to say, but for now I am going to call it a night and get ready to bark at every shadow and noise in the middle of the night. I know that the female one loves it when I scream out in surprise at 2:30 in the morning...and who am I to disappoint?
